Was Ophelia good to you?
We lost the front extension of the tractor shed which let Ophelia in to raise the roof of the neighbouring Goat shed. Luckily enough I was around to lash it before too much damage was done. We also lost one door on a polytunnel. Now we are still without power but do have a genie. So all in all not too bad . How did you lads fair?

we were very lucky, not a bit of damage, no loss of power just a few flickers of the lights, thats all. Mind you, our house is very sheltered, it has been built into a lee in the land beside a hill, just after what was known as the big wind in 1831.

We lost part of the chicken shed roof that was all. Plus mobile phone signal for the night. Not too bad either.
Now we've all got to get through the next one on Saturday.
Wayland hope you've got your electric back by now.

Still without power here and the landline is out. Soldiering on like everyone else. Got to do some repairs today. Looks interesting for the week end. Good luck lads

Was there a hurricane? I suppose living in the middle of a forest has its advantages...

Well it was downgraded to a tropical storm by the time she got here. Bad enough though. After five days we have now got our power back at last. Just ready for Brian to do his thing. What ever
