Well lads, I don't know what it's like in other necks of the woods, but down here in South Kerry it's like the floggin' winter! I've just been out closing in the ducks wearing two jumpers and an overcoat ( me, I mean, not the ducks). I think I might have made a blunder planting my tomatoes outside. It's not good for the bees either.

Its not much better in North Kerry either, the ducks are the only ones happy.
According to a postman in Donegal who accurately predicts weather by watching the wildlife it is still set to be a hot summer. Your tomatoes may yet surprise you.

I dont want to sound boring but, Its not that bad here. It has cooled off a bit out of the sun but I need a bit of rain again. The poly`s are getting a bit parched. I have set my crops either in hollows or have tubes set in the ground so I can water directly at the roots. We may get some rain on wednesday so fingers crossed.
