Went for a stroll this evening with the dog through the wood and found these:
Horse Mushrooms  20210811
They'll be in the frying pan tomorrow morning with the bacon and eggs! Very Happy

They look lovely, nice with Black and white pudding and a bit of tripe.

Yum. My old Lab cant walk much these days so I dont have an incentive to get off me arse much. Oh well. "Tempest Fugit".... With this apparent warm spell coming it may encourage more shrooms to appear. In the past there has not been many to be found in these parts, just with the occasional glut every ten years or so. We do get the Giant Puffballs from time to time.
