Tomatoes 2019

Here we are again lads and lasses - tomato season.  How are ye all doing with them?  My outdoor ones seem to be doing all right. They're a mixture of Super Marmandes,  Alicantes, Ailsa Craigs and Shirleys. Time will tell whether this outdoor lark will pay off.

I planted mine this week. All in the poly`s. I have planted with the mart in mind. Alsa Craig, Alicanty, Roma (bush plumb), San Marzino? Not sure of the spelling or what they are like. They are some new F1 yoke. I have some spare plants so I may well try them outside. If we get a summer like last year they may do well. I must admit I have not grown toms outside for many many years. Oh well. Fingers crossed.

I have only planted Moneymaker in the polytunnel. Have a few spare so may well try them outside as an experiment
