Oak and Ash Empty Oak and Ash

Have you heard the saying

Oak before Ash in for a splash
Ash before Oak in for a soak.

If there is any truth to this then unless our Ash has caught a disease the Oak is most definitely ahead and we are in for another very dry summer.

Fingers crossed. That's why I'm growing my tomatoes outdoors this year. Of course, I may live to regret it...
