Winter is coming

Well lads, here we are again - Old Man Winter is sneaking up the path towards us and, by my observations, he's going to really flex his muscles this time! Redwings, Fieldfares and Starlings are streaming down here from the North and that's usually a warning sign. The Rowans are already stripped of berries and the Holly is starting to take a hammering. We could be in for a hard one - I wouldn't be surprised to see a white Christmas. Batten down the hatches I say, but I hope I'm wrong!

That sounds like a big warning, we had better start stocking up on essentials now. Its about time we had proper seasons though.

I thought last winter was seasonal enough as was the summer. Whatever it chucks at us we will deal with it. I just got back from the UK and did see Red wings and Fieldfares in abundance. None here yet or at least in these Neck O the woods. Watching and waiting
