fly fishing.

The Mackeral fishing was not good this year and seems to be in a general decline. So I am thinking of the Trout, and fly fishing particularly as a bit of summer recreation. I have not done this for many years but intend to give it a go this year. Any of you lads " Thrash the water" ?

Like yourself Cristy, I haven't done it for years. Always seem to be too busy. Maybe it's time to slow down, smell the roses and spend some time on the river bank! As you say, the mackerel seem to be gone, unfortunately. I don't envisage being able to fill the freezer with trout, but it's a beautiful pastime.
