No, not yet - got none last year - been eating tinned mackerel all winter! Must try to stock up this year.

Sea`s been far too rough of late, even off the rocks. So still no Macs yet.

Well, the Mack`s are here but tiny. I had about a doz the biggest of which was about six inches. I will try the morning tide next Wednesday fingers crossed.

I spent three hours fishing yesterday and brought in a grand total of: zero! Not one fish to be seen. Filled a few bags of seaweed for the compost heap, so it wasn't a total waste of an afternoon.

Well, it was a lovely day at least. I did get one reasonable sized Mac but that was after three hours trying. Looking at the lack of litter around the fishing spot, no one else is getting any either. I would have expected Pollock at least. Oh well, I will try again next week. They were about in October last year.

There were a couple of dozen anglers on Fenit pier on Tuesday, but I didn't see even one fish landed in three hours.

A few Macs reported from the boats off the Hook but none from the rocks yet. Any around you yet?

Out again yesterday evening just before the full tide and anyone that was fishing caught some, not as good as it used to be but at least wer'e getting a few.

I have not been out yet, but if they are here then I will have a go at them. I got a doz of a mate from the boats tasted very nice but they were under size.
