Winter cabbages Empty Winter cabbages

I hope ye all have plenty winter cabbages sown by now. I have Red Drumhead, January King and a couple of Savoys sown. Those, together with Pentland Brig Kale, Hungry Gap Kale and Brussells Sprouts should see me through the winter.

We have Sprouts and Curly Kale growing well outside and Cauliflowers in the tunnel. I prefer to grow me brassicas in the polys as I only need to net the doorways against the Cabbage White`s but, Sprouts and the Kale dont seem to do well under cover.
