Chiffchaff! Empty Chiffchaff!

First Summer visitor arrived today in the form of a Chiffchaff! At least, I'm assuming "Summer visitor" - it's possible if may have overwintered, though I didn't see it in the garden during the winter. Either way, a very welcome sight!

We only get them in the summer, or thats the only time I hear them. I was watching noisy column of Buzzards yesterday rising in a thermal. Quite a spectacle I thought. Still just February!!
