Hummingbird Hawk Moth. Empty Hummingbird Hawk Moth.

Spotted a Hummingbird Hawk Moth yesterday feeding on flowering mint. This is only the second time I have seen such a fascinating critter and well suited to its name. By the time I had my phone set up for taking pictures it was gone.

I've never seen one. I often get Poplar Hawkmoths , Eyed Hawkmoths and the occasional Elephant (Hawkmoth, I mean, of course) but no Hummingbirds. And I have lots of Honeysuckle around...
